Dare County Restaurant Association



Dear Friends of the Community,

As many of you may already know, The Dare County (Outer Banks) Restaurant Association holds an annual fundraising event named The Taste of The Beach. This year it will be held on Sunday, April 24th, 2005 at The Ramada.

This event is held for many reasons:

  • Raise awareness of the restaurant and hospitality industry on The Outer Banks.
  • A friendly trophy and cash prize competition for those restaurants that participate in the event.
  • To help raise funds for the association.
  • To donate to charity of choice.
The last statement is why I am sending out this letter. Each year the association picks a charity or charities to contribute part of our profits. In order to make a selection, we ask that a letter be sent to our association if you wish your charity to be considered. We ask that your letter be sent to the association:

Deadline for the letters is April 4th and the association meeting will take place on April 5th.
